Announcing: Laughing in the Dark

a new rewatch podcast for fans of the 90's Nickelodeon show, Are You Afraid of the Dark

A common vector to the horror world for 90’s kids was none other than Are You Afraid of the Dark, which ran on Canada’s YTV and in the United States on Nickelodeon’s Saturday night SNICK block. From 1992 to 1996 Are You Afraid of the Dark ran 65 episodes and we’re going to watch each one of them.

Just like the show had its Midnight Society rotation of storytellers, this new rewatch podcast, Laughing in the Dark, named for the second episode of the series, has its own rotating cast of storytellers in the 9:30 Society: Bryan and Dave White from Bring Me The Axe! Aileen Clark from Uy Que Horror! and Mikie Sirois from Morbid’s The Rewatcher. We’re going to break down each episode and we have a lot to say about the hair and fashion of early 90’s Canadian teens.
